KP Announces Interest Free Loans for Youngsters

In a significant move aimed at ’empowering’ the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur announced three initiatives focused on generating employment.

The KP government has finalized preparations to launch the “Ehsaas Rozgar,” “Ehsaas Hunar,” and “Ehsaas Nojawan Rozgar” programs, all of which are designed to offer financial support to young entrepreneurs and skilled workers.

Ali Amin Gandapur has directed relevant departments to expedite the finalization of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to ensure the swift implementation of these initiatives.

Under the “Ehsaas Nojawan Rozgar” scheme, soft loans of up to Rs10 million will be provided to eligible candidates, according to CM Gandapur. Additionally, interest-free loans of up to Rs200,000 will be offered for starting new businesses or expanding existing ones.

He said the “Ehsaas Hunar” program will provide interest-free loans of up to Rs500,000 to skilled youth, enabling them to start or grow their businesses. In a related development, the Chief Minister also reviewed progress on the “Ehsaas Apna Ghar” program, which aims to provide interest-free loans of up to Rs1.5 million for the construction, expansion, or renovation of homes for deserving families.

This comprehensive strategy reflects the government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and enhancing the living standards of the province’s youth and underprivileged families, said CM Gandapur.
