Prime Minister announces free e-bikes scheme for students – Pakistan
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has introduced a program to distribute electric motorcycles to selected students from government schools.
He made this announcement during a meeting that focused on promoting electric vehicles in the country.
Similar to the laptop initiative, e-motorbikes will be given to students who excel in government schools.
Additionally, Shehbaz Sharif instructed the Capital Development Authority to develop a detailed plan for electric-powered public transportation in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister has directed all federal ministries to exclusively purchase electric motorbikes for federal government departments in the future to conserve national funds.
